Doyenne Website RFP

Doyenne is looking for a web developer to update the overall look, feel and content of the site as we prepare for expansion into new cities.

Doyenne is a medium-sized non-profit working to build entrepreneurial ecosystems where women from all backgrounds thrive. The Doyenne model focuses four key strategies:

  • Develop: Expand entrepreneurial skills
  • Connect: Build and mobilize networks
  • Fund: Raise and invest dollars  
  • Collaborate: Partner with other organizations and individuals to change the ecosystem

The goal of this RFP is to find an IT partner to redesign our website https://doyennegroup.org

  • Launch and Support the Doyenne program in multiple locations
  • Enhance user engagement and customer experience
  • Increase the productivity of the Founder team by automating and streamlining the manual backend process
  • Build a platform to use online tools to assist the entrepreneurial journey
  • Increase memberships
  • Increase donations

Context

Doyenne is set for growth having streamlined the program in Madison.

Doyenne is launching in multiple cities by the end of 2019, we have identified Milwaukee and Green Bay as the next cities.The website needs to be redesigned to scale to multiple locations. The website will be key in streamlining the process of engaging the entrepreneurs at various stages in each of the 4 tenants of Develop, Connect, Fund and Collaborate.

Prioritized Goals

This new website should support the following goals:

  • Doyenne as an organization site
  • City specific sub-sites
  • Drive $250,000 in online donations by December 31, 2019 to support our Annual Fund.
  • Increase organization wide membership to 350 between the three cities of Madison, Milwaukee and Green Bay/Fox Valley (up from the current 150) by December 31, 2019
  • Increase site visits by 20%  by December 31, 2019

Intended Target of the Site

Doyenne Women Entrepreneur Members are women at all stages of building their ventures, from testing and validating ideas, launching, preparing for growth, or pivoting to new directions.

As a member, you get access to:

  • A network of women and men who support women entrepreneurs
  • Professional development programs focused on helping you develop your entrepreneurial skills, form your identity as a CEO, and build/grow your venture (one-on-one coaching, strategic planning retreats, founder series, fundamental four, etc.).
  • Opportunities to pitch your business to investors and the community at Doyenne events and through other organizations
  • Promotion of you and your business through Doyenne social media channels, including awards you receive, mentions in the media, and the events/programs you offer
  • Nominations to be speakers and panelists at entrepreneurial events in Madison and beyond

Doyenne Community Members are people who want to share their time, talent and treasure to support women entrepreneurs, and/or are aspiring entrepreneurs themselves. The benefits of membership include the opportunity to:

  • be recognized in the community as a supporter of women entrepreneurs,
  • to meet and learn from women entrepreneurs
  • to share your expertise to help women entrepreneurs grow through our coaching programs

Doyenne Female Student Members are people who are currently enrolled in K-12 and accredited post-secondary education institutions who are launching ventures or are interested in learning about entrepreneurship and potentially interning with women-led startups

As a member you get access to:

  • A network of women and men who support and/or are women entrepreneurs

Administrator:

  • Administrator use the website to collect the data
  • Administrators approve/reject application to various programs and funds
  • Administrators collect payment and required information
  • Administrators generate report to track progress and growth
  • Administrators update the event calendar and availability of the coaching sessions
