August 23 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Join Doyenne and entrepreneur & author Kelly Fitzsimmons in a conversation about what it’s really like being an entrepreneur.
Come hear Kelly’s experience of being a serial tech entrepreneur, artist, and mother of two. She’ll discuss what it’s like to wear multiple hats, what to do when sh*t hits the fan, and how to overcome crisis after crisis while living your dream of being an entrepreneur and building your business.
While entrepreneurship is promoted as being a sexy, high profit, “build the life you want” type career/lifestyle choice, there’s also the dark, secret, isolating side of having to put on a smile when:
- It feels like things are falling apart
- Being a Jack or Jill of all everything
- Going way outside of your comfort zone to make things happen
- Admitting when you need help or need to walk away
- Avoiding burnout and keep the bus rolling along
Kelly will discuss how to find every day successful moments, face the crisis head-on, and be able to build the life you want while running on physical and emotional fumes.
