HELP INSPIRE & MENTOR OVER 100 GIRLS AT GIRLPRENEUR EVENT HOSTED BY BADGERLAND GIRL SCOUTS

11/1/2017

Be an inspiration to over a hundred, 6-8 grade girls at GIRLpreneur, hosted by Badgerland Girl Scouts, on December 9th, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel in Madison. Talk to them about who you are, your journey with becoming an Entrepreneur, challenges and successes you experienced, as well as help them start to think about business ideas that they can create for themselves.

Volunteer Roles we need your assistance with:

Keynote Speaker: {1 Entrepreneur} (Morning Keynote presentation from 9:15-9:30am) Share with the girls your story and journey about how you became an Entrepreneur, the obstacles you overcame to get where you are today and inspire the girls to become young Entrepreneurs.

Workshop Presenter: {6 Entrepreneurs} (Workshops are from 9:30am-12:30pm) Workshops are 25 minutes long and occur 6 times during the morning with 5 minutes in between:

  1. Voice Assertiveness (still looking for someone)
  2. Thinking Outside the Box (covered)
  3. Marketing (still looking for someone)
  4. What’s Your Brand (covered)
  5. Investing in Yourself (covered)
  6. Overcoming Obstacles (risks and rewards) (covered)

Entrepreneur Mentor: {20-24 Entrepreneurs} (Networking/creative brainstorming from 12:00-3:00pm) Network with the girls at your table during lunch and then help them during the creative brainstorming session to develop their own business idea/plan and then come up with the pitch.

Volunteer all day or just for the networking session from 12-3:30pm. We think fabulous, inspirational ladies from the Doyenne Group would be wonderful mentors for these girls in hopes to inspire them to become young Entrepreneurs themselves.
