YOU NEED A TEAM TO SUPPORT YOUR JOURNEY
A Support team made of others who understand you
Doyenne Learning Teams are small group, cohort experiences for individuals to form a community of other entrepreneurs who understand what it’s like to be an entrepreneur.
These groups meet with each other for meetups to support their personal growth, development, and not feel “crazy” about their career choices.
Teams that serve your desires
When an entrepreneur enrolls in the program they can choose any or all of the following types of teams to be apart of
-
Accountability Team - goal setting & target tracking via others who will support, encourage, and rally around you and your goals
-
Peer Mentoring - We all have areas of expertise we can share with others. These teams bring their expertise to share with each other to support their personal and professional growth as leaders of their ventures
-
Gab Sessions - Sometimes all we want is to be around other women who understand what our entrepreneurial lived experience is like. These teams can use their time for book chats, connect with each other on a personal level with no expectations for outcomes, or recreational activities they schedule on their own
-
Deal Flow - These teams are only for those who have completed the Doyenne Investor Accelerator. Team Members meet to discuss startups seeking investment funding from angel and VC investors and, potentially, invest in startups through the program
Program fee
$25/month subscription
Doyenne Learning Teams are a monthly subscription fee of $25 per month. Participants are enrolled for a minimum of 6 months, at which time they can stay within their current team, apply for a team change, or end their participation.
Criteria to join the program
Doyenne Learning Teams are open to all who identify as a woman and/or non-binary entrepreneurs. The program is best designed for entrepreneurs who have already started their businesses and are working 20-40 hours per week within their venture.
Participants are asked to attend a minimum of 60% of all scheduled Team meetups. If you are unable to make this commitment based on your team meetup decided upon schedule please contact Doyenne Leadership for alternative Team placement.
kickoff session
A Kickoff meetup will be scheduled for all new team members where Doyenne Leadership will go through the Guidebook and program overview. Teams will also have time within the Kickoff to meet, go through an Ice Breaker activity, select a Team Captain, and set their first meetup date.
Teams will self-schedule their monthly or bi-monthly (twice per month) meetups amongst each other after the Kickoff meetup
Team member roles
Team Captain: Responsible for communication and scheduling of team meetups and also relaying information and requests to Doyenne Leadership. The person who holds this position will be selected based upon their intake form. There may be co-captains if the Team wishes to have so.
Team Members: Responsible for attending meetups, being open to conversations, feedback, and being respectful of all. Participants have also agreed to the Doyenne Terms & Services agreement as being part of the program.
Logistics and frequently asked questions:
how often and Where are the team meetups held?
This is up to your team to vote upon. Generally, teams meet once or twice a month.
The location of meetups is decided upon by the group. If in-person meetups are agreed upon, we suggest always adding a virtual option as well in case a team member can't get to the location due to other life responsibilities or geographical limitations.
Can I be in more than one type of Team?
We do the best we can to match you into a team that serves the maximum amount of asks and needs you outline in your application form. This is not always possible based on team formation or already established teams that have vacant team member spaces. Doyenne will reach out via email or phone to discuss team options with you if the situation arises.
Teams may be more than one type. Maybe your team members are looking for accountability and gab sessions, your team is welcome to combine team structures to meet the needs of those on the team and collectively determine how the new structure will work best for all team members.
