After 15 years as a social work professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I jumped head first into the "ed tech" space and developed a cloud-based platform for academics to share their tools and resources and promote their work. I am still on faculty at UW-Madison as I continue to grow Prof2Prof, which now has members in over 50 countries across 6 continents. I live in Madison with my family, which includes my two wonderful sons (12 and 17), two step-children who are now lovely young adults, and my brilliant and ever-supportive husband. My favorite hobby? Prof2Prof is a cloud-based platform for higher education professionals and doctoral students, as well as affiliate members (i.e. people, businesses) whose work intersects with academia. The primary mission of Prof2Prof is to raise the overall quality of higher education by making it easier for academics to manage and broadly share a wide range of intellectual products, such as research and teaching tools, as well as learn from their peers around the world.
